TRE®- Certified Practitioner - Certification Requirements
Attend both a Module 1 and a Module 2 Three Day Workshop
A
trainee must attend both TRE® training workshops that are no more than 12 weeks apart. The first
step to certification after Module 1 is to enroll in the TRE® LLC
Certification Enrollment website (trecertificationenrollment.com). Enrollment
costs $35.
On enrolment in the training process each Trainee will develop a personal Learning Plan with their Certification Trainer which will be based on 3 main sections
Personal TRE® Practice
During the Certification process the Trainee must Journal a minimum of 40 sessions of Personal TRE® Practice. Normally the Trainee will be expected to maintain a personal TRE® practice of three times a week throughout the certification process
Four of these sessions will be supervised by the Certification Trainer where the focus will be on the Trainees ability to self-regulate in the TRE® process. These sessions should be completed between Module 1 and 2
Peer Supervision Sessions - the trainee will be supervised in their personal TRE® practice by a peer in the training process for four sessions. They will also supervise a peer for four sessions. Theses will be completed after Module 2
Teaching TRE® to Individuals
After Module 2 the Trainee must teach and Journal a minimum of 10 TRE® sessions to Individuals. Four of these sessions will be supervised by the Certification Trainer
On completion of the minimum 10 sessions the Trainee will be assessed by another Certification Trainer to allow them to commence teaching TRE® to groups
Teach TRE® to Groups
The Trainee must teach and Journal a minimum of 6 TRE® group sessions. A group will have 4-8 participants
Four of these sessions will be supervised by the Certification Trainer
On completion of teaching he minimum of 6 Group TRE® sessions the Trainee will have a final assessment by another Certification Trainer
The Journals of both the personal TRE® process and the teaching TRE® will be submitted to the Certification Trainer as determined in the Learning Plan
In addition the Trainee will need to show they have completed the minimum required reading and watching of videos. These exact requirements will be determined in the Trainee's Individual Learning Plan and will be based on the Global Certification Requirements
The Trainee should attend a minimum of 4 Half-Day Supervision Workshops during their Training. One of these workshops should be between Module 1 and 2 and the other three after Module 2. The workshops will include revision of materials, supervision of personal TRE® process -1 session, and supervision of Individual and Group Teaching - 3 sessions
Other supervision sessions may take place in person or via Skype live or Skype using pre-recorded sessions
Each Trainee will need to become competent in the basic skills of TRE® to become a TRE® Certified Provider. Individual learning plans may be modified and if necessary trainees may need fulfil additional requirements and/or supervision sessions to achieve competency
